AUBURN – Edward Nathan “Eddie Mac” McLellan, 76, of Livermore Falls, passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn.

He was born on May 16, 1931, the son of Everett and Leola Hunt McLellan in Thomaston where he attended local schools. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved working with the public and was the assistant manger at H.H. Crie & Co. in Rockland for 20 years, worked at Eddie Mac’s Market in Warren for 10 years, Epcot Center in Florida in food service, Lonnie’s Plumbing in Rockland, Thomaston Hardware and Boggs Mobile Homes as a service manager. He last worked at Schreps Corner Store in Turner.

He was a lifetime member of Rockland Elk’s Club and was awarded Elk of the Year. He was also a member of Jaycees where he won the Spoke Award.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Roberta McLellan of Livermore Falls; his daughter, Rhonda L. Kent of Warren; his son, Robert S. McLellan and his companion of many years, Vickie, of Thomaston; five grandchildren, Kristina Warren of Union, Celena Kent of Warren, Melissa Kent of Warren, Justin McLellan of Rockland and Nathan McLellan of Thomaston; his father-in-law, A. Hamilton Boothby and his wife, Norma, of Cushing; and his nephew, who Eddie viewed as a brother, Robert Hunt of Md.

He was predeceased by his twin brother, Elwood McLellan; his sister, Barbara Hunt; his aunt, Bertha Hunt Spear; and uncles, Ervin Spear and Ernest Hunt.
