WILTON – A Mexico man accused of supplying drugs to a 14-year-old girl and then raping her at a party Nov. 10 was arraigned Friday in Franklin County Superior Court in Farmington.
Craig Leander Tracy, 24, who was convicted in 2005 of furnishing liquor to a 15-year-old girl in Jay and then assaulting her, was returned to Franklin County jail where he is being held without bail on a probation revocation charge, a corrections officer said Friday night.
Tracy is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 14 for that charge; and March 24 on charges of gross sexual assault, sexual abuse of a minor, tampering with a victim, and aggravated, unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs (two counts), according to jail records. Bail on those charges is $10,000 cash or $250,000 worth or property.
Tracy, who has listed addresses in Canton and Skowhegan, was arrested Tuesday on the probation charge and Thursday on the other counts, according to jail records.
Wilton police officers investigated a report of a 14-year-old girl being sexually assaulted at a party in an apartment off Route 2 on Nov. 10, Lt. Richard Caton said Friday, and charged Tracy in connection with the incident.
Tracy is accused of bringing marijuana and Vicodin to the apartment and providing them to the girl and another juvenile, Caton said. Court records state there was evidence of morphine salts and the drug Ecstasy at the scene also.
While under the influence of the drugs, the girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by Tracy, the court record states.
Caton said Tracy also tried to get the girl and others to change their accounts of what happened at the party.
The incident was reported to police by the 14-year-old’s father and later confirmed by the victim, officials said.
Tracy’s criminal history dates back to 2001, with convictions for unlawful sexual contact with a woman in New Sharon in 2004, assault against and furnishing liquor to a 15-year-old girl in Jay in 2005, terrorizing, escape while wearing an electronic tracking device, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft, failure to appear in court on a burglary charge, and at least three probation violations, according to officials.
He has previously listed addresses in Canton and Skowhegan.
