BRIDGTON – Rosalie Ann Smart Edwards, 70, of Maple Ridge Road in Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Bridgton Hospital. Family and friends were by her side as she went to be with the Lord.

She was born on Feb. 15, 1937, in Sweden, to Ilan and Minnie Nevers Allen Smart. Rosalie attended schools in Bridgton and graduated from Oxford Hills High School. She married Wallace Edwards on June 4, 1956. They had four children and were together for 51 years.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace of Harrison; her daughter, Patricia Farwell and husband, Douglas, of Rumford; her sons, Glenn and wife, Kathy, of Sebago and Mark and wife, Betty, of South Carolina and New Hampshire; and her daughter, Deborah Baroudi and husband, Karim, of Waterford; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her brothers, Robert Smart of Kensington, N.H. and Randy Smart of Dover, N.H.; and sisters, Nancy Landry of Norway, Holly Smith of Harrison and Donna Pridham of Ft. Myers, Fla. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Glen Arlen and Valmore; and her parents, Ilan and Minnie Smart of Bridgton.
