Norman “Bo” Thompson, 35, of Lewiston and Mexico pleaded guilty Friday in Androscoggin County Superior Court in Auburn to burglary, forgery, theft and violating conditions of release. The charges stem from the theft of two vehicles from Turner and Lewiston in September and passing bad checks the same month, along with new crimes committed since his release from jail. Thompson is being held on $50,000 cash bail in Oxford County Jail in Paris on charges of home and vehicle burglaries, and vehicle thefts from Oct. 6 to 11. He was jailed there after a 14-hour police standoff Oct. 11 at his mother’s home in Mexico.
