WINTHROP – Scott and Kathy Eldridge of Winthrop are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Korynne Elizabeth, to Fred Wesley French III, the son of Eleanor May (Linda) French and the late Fred Wesley French Jr. of Lisbon.

Miss Eldridge of Winthrop is a 2000 graduate of Winthrop High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She is employed at Capital Kids of Augusta.

Mr. French, also of Winthrop, is a 1992 graduate of Lisbon High School and a 1994 graduate of Southern Maine Community College with an associate degree in criminal justice. He is employed by Beckett Schools as a program director.

A June 14 wedding is planned in Auburn.
