Auburn – Mariette M. Poulin, 70, of 134 S. Main St., passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, at her residence.
She was born in Daquam, P.Q. Canada, on Sept. 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Telesphore and Eugenie Turgeon Therrien. She was educated in Canadian schools and was married to Jean Paul Poulin on June 24,1961.
Prior to her retirement she was employed at Pioneer Plastics in Auburn.
She was a member of the Auburn Catholic community and enjoyed playing bingo and doing many different projects around the house including woodworking.
She is survived by her husband, Jean Paul of Auburn; two daughters, Pauline Kelley of West Virginia, and Lorraine Jordan and husband, John, of Auburn; a son, Peter Luc Poulin and wife, Heather, of Benton; six grandchildren, Zachary and Matthieu Poulin, Eric and Karen Jordan and Andy and Greg Kelley; four sisters, Rose Anna Pigeon, Therese Lacasse, Marie Claire Poirier and husband, Gedeon, all of Quebec, and Lorraine Bell and husband, Benoit, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
