The Christmas season is here again. With it comes the frenzy of looking for that “perfect” gift. It is a joyous time, in spite of the rushing about.

I celebrate Christmas as the time of my savior’s birth. That is a constant reminder of how much God loves me.

Regardless of all the chaos and uncertainty that surrounds me, God’s love is unconditional and eternal. I wrap his love around me like a shield.

We are given the opportunity to spread love to family, friends and strangers alike. A smile, a hug, a word of encouragement are precious gifts that we can share. They will outlast the material gifts that we give.

Loving one another is the greatest gift of all.
