PORTLAND – Kathy Ann Vines, 35, of Lewiston died on Friday, Nov. 30, of complications after surgery at Maine Medical Center.

The daughter of Debra C. Vines and Bruce W. Vines, she was born on Nov. 7, 1972, in Keams Canyon, Ariz.

She attended schools in Rumford and Buckfield, graduating from Oxford Hills High School in 1991.

She worked at a variety of places after graduation and had just completed her fifth year of employment with FISC, in Lewiston.

She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her daughter, Becka, and the rest of her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecka C. Vines; her mother, Debra C. Vines, and second father, Thomas Carro, of Oxford; her father, Bruce W. Vines of Augusta; her grandparents, Claude and Dolly White of Norway and Dewey Vines of Sumner; aunts and uncles, Bruce and Laurie Hutchins and family of Jay, Allen and Wenda White of Newport, N.H., Carole and Terry Edge of Manchester, N.H., and Brenda and Ray Gaugh and family of South Paris; her extended family includes, Steve Milliken and family of Mechanic Falls; his sister, Edie Milliken, and her family of Lewiston and Pete and Olivia McLellan of Harrison.

She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Kayla J. Milliken; grandmothers, Natalie Vines and Rosemary Rigg; great-grandparents, Nora Melissa Vines, George and Annie Glazier and George and Etta Silver.

She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and coworkers at FISC.
