This year, St. Dom’s field hockey ended its season 10-3, which put St. Dom’s in fourth place in the Western Maine Class C heal point standings. The captains for the team were Katie Landry (senior), Annie Butts (senior), and Mary Lewis (junior). The team also included: Ariane Bowie, Jen Cullen, Amanda Mayette, Austyn Carolin, Eliza Dox, Pressley Lawrence, Colleen Rideout, Christine Royles, Hannah Wiley, Hilary Gove, Mariah Maheux, Julia Richardson, Sara Webber, and Zoe Theriault. Coaches, Mr. Kay and Mrs. Lewis were strong role models for this growing team. Losing 5 seniors -3 of them starters- this field hockey team is a young one with a lot of potential. Being a non-starter, it was always fun to watch the team play with so much intensity and also be in the realm of spirit on the bench. Our team was very close which helped to make us so successful. Even with a few ups and downs, we still pulled through and always played the best game we could. Next year there are going to be big shoes to fill, but I think we can do it!
