LEWISTON – Reine D. Pelletier, 74, of 33 Roger St., Lewiston, died early Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Marshwood Health Care Facility after a long illness.
She was born in St. Agathe, on Oct. 19, 1933, the daughter of Maxim Sr. and Jeanne (Beaulieu) Roy and had been a resident of this community most of her life.
She was educated in Catholic schools in St. Agathe.
She was employed at Sableman Plastic Heel, Ripley Industries in Lewiston for many years until her retirement in 1995.
She was a member of the Twelve Hour Club, and the AA Association.
She loved to play beano at Marshwood and also enjoyed bird watching. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Pelletier of Panama City, Fla., Gilman Pelletier of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Roger Pelletier of Auburn; two daughters, Mary Louise Lord and her husband, Terry, of Mechanic Falls and Brenda Picard and her husband, Michael, of Hebron; two brothers, Maxim Roy Jr. and his wife, Sue, of Fort McCoy, Fla., and George Roy and his wife, Theresa, of Lewiston; two sisters, Patricia Brooks of Lisbon and Blanche Martin of Newton, N.C.; three grandchildren, Matt Pelletier and his wife, Kasey, of Wales, Michael Pelletier and his wife, Melinda, of South Port, Fla., and Cathy Urso and her husband, Brian, of Jacksonville, Fla.; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Brianna, Adrienne, Andrew and Kevin; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Fern Brochu of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by one sister, Cecile Marquis; and one brother, Leo Roy.
