The afternoon of Sunday, October 28, Saint Dominic Regional High School held its annual Admissions Open House for prospective students and families. Doors opened at 12:30 p.m., and attendees registered and entered a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship. At 1 p.m. the program started, with fantastic testimonial speeches by seniors Emily St. Pierre and Ben Horton. Also speaking were Assistant Principal for Enrollment Management Ryan Gleason and Principal Donald Fournier. Everyone was treated to a special airing of the St. Dom’s Admissions Video, which was brand new this year.

Next, the attendees and their families broke up into tour groups, each guided by a St. Dom’s Student Ambassador. The groups explored the school, visiting classrooms, teachers, coaches, and booths set up by each extra-curricular club and sport. Throughout the afternoon, 92 Moose had a booth set up, giving away prizes and even broadcasting live, interviewing students and faculty. Refreshments were served and a great time was had by all. “I thought it was good to meet the teachers,” said David Dean, an eighth grader at Elm Street School who attended on the 28th, “It was a good experience.”
