ANDOVER – Hutchinson Farms, 210 Rumford Center Road, will offer horse-drawn sleigh rides from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16. All proceeds will benefit the Community Concepts Elder Rides Program.

The cost will be $5 a person. Pictures with Santa will be available.

The Community Concepts Elder Rides program provides medical transportation to seniors age 60 or older. Priority is given to dialysis and cancer patients. Since January, volunteers have driven 91 seniors to more than 1,300 appointments.

The average age of the seniors who use the program is more than 80 years old. United Way and other foundation funds are nearly depleted and there is a critical need for funds to continue the program.
