RUMFORD – Memorial services for William I. “Smitty” Smith of Rumford were conducted Saturday at Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.

Music included his favorite songs before and after the services.

Officiating were his son, Stewart Smith, and daughter, Tamara Wentworth.

Words of remembrance were giving by nieces, Sophie and Kelsey Wentworth.

Memories were also shared by several friends.

Interment in the spring will be at Demerritt Cemetery, West Peru.

A reception followed at Dick’s Restaurant, Mexico.
