LEWISTON – Vicky J. LaChance has been promoted to a vice president in electronic banking at TD Banknorth in Lewiston. In her role as an e-banking manager, she will continue to lead a team of 25 employees who are responsible for settlement, disputed transaction research and fraud control for the bank’s Visa debit card portfolio. Her responsibilities also include successful compliance reviews, audit reviews, including SOX and recon control reviews for each of her areas.
LaChance joined TD Banknorth in 2001 and has 19 years of banking experience. She has previously served as an assistant vice president, fraud research supervisor, fraud risk specialist, loan officer and teller.
A Clinton resident, LaChance has volunteered as a PAL cheering coach and also served as treasurer of the Karate Parent Association for the Alfond Youth Center. A native of Waterville, she is a 1989 graduate of Waterville High School.
LaChance is an active member of many associations, including the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators, the Maine Association of Community Bankers and the New England Debit Card Taskforce. She also serves on the NYCE Payments Advisory Council.
