JUPITER, Fla. – Germaine B. Ouellette, 84, died Dec. 9, in hospice care in Jupiter, Fla.

She was born April 21, 1923, in Van Buren, the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Ouellette. She worked in the insurance industry most of her life and retired from Travelers Insurance based out of Hartford, Conn.

She moved to Lewiston shortly after retiring, for a brief time. She then relocated to Jupiter, Fla., where she spent the majority of her retirement years. There she enjoyed the warmer weather and the many new dear friendships she encountered.

She is survived by her sisters, Rita Conley of Fullerton, Calif., Diane Ouellette, Constance Currie, Adelaide Castonguay and Gertrude Matthews of Auburn and Theresa Brooks of Lisbon; and several nieces and nephews that loved and adored her.

She had a passionate love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
