The Jr. Maineiac Squirt White team saw rival Jr. Maineiac Squirt Black score a goal with 26 seconds remaining in regulation to force a 2-2 tie in recent youth hockey action.

With less than a minute to play and down by a goal, Black chose to pull its goalie for an extra attacker.

The move paid off when Ryan Gosselin was able to flip the puck past Nick Hawk for the equalizer.

Hawk and Devin Dumont were outstanding in the respective nets.

Cody Howe also scored for the Black team. Owen McCarthy and Corinne Laberge netted the goals for White.

Alex Morgan and Jacob Gladu were standouts on defense for White. Matt Boulet and Ricky Lacombe were equal to the defensive task for Black. The teams are scheduled for a rematch on at 1:50 p.m. Sunday in Alfond Arena on the campus of Kents Hill School.
