LISBON – Two drivers were injured in a crash on snow-covered Route 9 Thursday.

Richard Rider, 34, of Brunswick suffered a broken leg and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center as was the other driver, Kayla Gray, 18, of Livermore Falls, who complained of leg pain.

According to police, Gray was driving south when she lost control of her car, which crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with Rider’s vehicle.

Both Gray’s 1999 Toyota Tacoma and Rider’s 1998 Ford Contour were demolished in the 4:45 p.m. crash, which was investigated by officer Thomas Stanton Jr.
