NORWAY – Diana Carrol Douglass Kellogg, 62, died suddenly on Dec. 13.

Known as Deedee, she was born on May 12, 1945, in Boston, Mass. She and her husband, Benjamin Kellogg, lived in Bethel, where they raised two sons, Todd and Bryan. She grew up in Bethel, the daughter of Barbara and Dana C. Douglass Jr. and she attended the local schools including Gould Academy.

She ran Stepping Stones Nursery School for many years in her home, enjoying the presence and teaching of preschool age children. She worked for Sunday River Skiway in the reservations department thereafter for many years, becoming the backbone of the condominiums and RCI reservations system at American Ski Co., Newry.

She was a devoted employee who was loved and enjoyed by many owners and those with whom she worked. She was an active member of the Bethel community, volunteering for many years for Red Cross drives. She taught Sunday school at the West Parish Congregational Church for several years when her children were young. Family and friends were her first love! Her incredibly positive outlook and acceptance and friendliness will forever be missed.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Benjamin Kellogg; two sons, Todd Kellogg of Florida, and Bryan Kellogg and his wife, Heather, of Bryant Pond; grandchildren, Ella Grace and Grady; her mother, Barbara A. Douglass of Bethel; sisters, Cheryl Douglass of Woburn, Mass., and Barbara D.Weeks and her husband, Peter Weeks, of Dunbarton, N.H.; brother-in-law, Mark Hutchins of Salisbury, N.H.; three nieces, Brooke W. Rapp, Andrea H.Sickinger and Karen K. Hutchins; a nephew, Porter Weeks; a grandnephew, Dylan; and grandniece, Lauren.

She was predeceased by her father, Dana C. Douglass Jr.; and her sister, Pamela D. Hutchins.
