LEWISTON – The wedding of Allison Mae Boyd and Kevin W. Bennett was held June 1 at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston. Dixie Lee Piper, aunt of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Bennett is the daughter of Jeffrey and Darlene Boyd of Mechanic Falls. Mr. Bennett is the son of Ann and Butch Lawler of Auburn and Rob and Diane Bennett of Poland.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a two piece strapless gown with corset top with lace and beading overlay. She carried a bouquet of white roses with blue tinting.
Amanda Sherrer was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Megan McNally, Katie Heldman and Stacey Daigneault, friends of the bride. Lilliana Bennett, daughter of the couple, and Chelsey Edmonds, daughter of the bridegroom, were flower girls.
Rob Bennett Jr. performed the duties of best man for his brother. Ushers were Tom Murtha and Pete Driscoll, friends of the bridegroom, and Nick Lawler, brother of the bridegroom. Alex Sherrer, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Ramada Inn, after which the couple traveled to Boston. They are residing in Auburn.
The bride is a graduate of Poland Regional High School. The bridegroom is a graduate of Edward Little High School.
