BASS HARBOR – The wedding of Jani Lee Dillon and Jeremy Albert Wilkinson was held at 2 p.m. June 23 at the home of a family friend, Gibby Dow, in Bass Harbor. Janet Richards officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Wilkinson is the daughter of Charles and Laura Dillon of Tremont. Mr. Wilkinson is the son of Deborah Grant of Brunswick.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless gown embroidered with crystals in pale pink, peridot and white across the bodice, down the back and along the bottom of the semi-Cathedral hemline. She carried a bouquet of pink and white Stargazer lilies.
Jared Archilles, cousin of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Jenn Grant and Kelsey Minotte, friends of the bride, and Amber Orman, cousin of the bride.
Kevin Rouselle was best man for his friend. Ushers were Benjamen Grant, brother of the bridegroom, and Tyler Ross, cousin of the bridegroom. Dillon William Wilkinson, son of the couple, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the American Legion Hall in Southwest Harbor. The couple is residing in Buxton.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Mt. Desert High School on Mt. Desert Island and a 2006 graduate of the University of New England with a degree in biology. She is employed as a veterinarian tech at the Hollis Animal Clinic.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford and attended Andover College in Portland. He is a service writer at Clair Honda in Saco.
