NEWRY – The wedding of Janel Irene Ippolito and Matthew Paul Redman was held at 3 p.m. July 7 at Sunday River Covered Bridge in Newry. Herbert Gardner, ordained minister, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Redman is the daughter of Jolan and James Ippolito of Rumford Point. Mr. Redman is the son of Christine Redman of Midland, Mich.

A reception followed at Spruce Hill Farm, home of the parents of the bride. The couple is residing in Val D’Isere, France.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and Carrabassett Valley Academy. She is also a 2001 graduate of Bates College.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Midland High School and a 2001 graduate of Bates College.
