AUBURN – In Central Maine Basketball Conference 5th and 6th Grade girls’ competition, Auburn YMCA Travel improved to a 3-0 with a 45-34 triumph over Messalonskee.

Kory Norcross topped Auburn with 18 points. Rounding out the scoring column for Auburn were Kennedy Hubbard with 8, Tianna Harriman with 6, Laurianne Murphy with 5, Paige Young with 4 and Makayla Norcross and Brooke Reynolds with 2 apiece. Kassy Michaud paced Messalonskee with 18 points. Kayla Knowles added 6 and Mykayla Turner 4.
