AUBURN – Northeast Bank Insurance Group Inc., a subsidiary of Maine-based Northeast Bank, has promoted Teri Maloney-Kelly of Cumberland to director of personal insurance, education and training at the Auburn office. She is charged with ensuring operational consistency throughout the offices and will act as liaison to divisions within parent company, Northeast Bank.

Maloney-Kelly joined Northeast in 2006 and has nearly 30 years in the insurance industry, having held sales, service and management positions with agencies and carriers throughout Maine. She has her AU and AIS designation and certificate in general insurance and supervisory management from the Insurance Institute. She holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Husson College, and is a 25-year member of the Insurance Professionals of Greater Portland. She lives in Cumberland with her husband.

With the recent purchase of Southern Maine Insurance Agency, Northeast Bank Insurance Group, Inc. now operates 12 insurance offices in Maine.
