AUBURN – Dick Gleason, owner of radio stations WOXO, WEZR and WTME, was keynote speaker at the annual Maine State Collegiate Business Conference, hosted by American Marketing Association chapter of the University of Maine in Orono.

The conference featured a full day of workshops and seminars based around notable business leaders and elected officials and focused on the most relevant topics in Maine business.

Gleason’s address was entitled “Your Marketing Destiny,” in which he reminded the audience that educated marketers are best equipped to help the world in many ways, not only in business, but also, nonprofits. He urged people to use their knowledge to be socially responsible, and showed them a self-test that any entity can use to check their marketing direction.
