ORONO – Lance Charles Bosworth, 19, of Auburn, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 14, in Orono.

He was born in Lewiston, Dec. 27, 1987, the son of Arthur and Jo-Lynn Libby Bosworth.

He was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School, Class of 2006. He was presently a second-year student at the University of Maine at Orono enrolled in the business administration program.

He enjoyed spending quiet times at home with his brother Brock or reading and watching movies.

His favorite times were gathering with family and friends. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, talking, playing video games or paintball. He was especially fond of gatherings with his extended family. His favorite being Memorial Day weekend at camp, where his task was to bring the doughnuts. When he was with family and friends, he loved engaging in humorous banter, laughing with everyone and at himself. He was an avid hunter, enjoying many other outdoor activities and nature in general.

He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his smile and his easy laugh. He will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate to know him well.

He is survived by his parents, a brother, Brock Bosworth, and paternal grandparents, Les and Charlotte Bosworth, all of Auburn; maternal grandfather, Warren Libby of Buckfield; and a large extended family.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Carol Libby.
