LEWISTON – Eunice B. Gagne, 80, of South Witham Road, Auburn, died Thursday, Dec. 20, at Central Maine Medical Center after a short illness.

She was born at Milton Plantation on April 20, 1927, a daughter to the late Ernest and Marion (Bean) Billings. She received her education in Milton Plantation and Woodstock High School.

She married the love of her life, Lucien R. Gagne, in Lewiston on Jan. 2, 1954. He predeceased her in 2003. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, and playing bingo.

She is survived by a son, Harvey Gagne and his wife, Sue, of Auburn; a daughter, Anita Fickett and husband, Randall, of Auburn; a granddaughter, Brooke Gagne of Auburn; four grandsons, Jeremey Gagne of Clinton Mass., Evan Gagne of Auburn, Scott and Derek Fickett, both of Auburn; a sister, Florence Wing of Westbrook; a sister-in-law, Shirley Staples of Rumford; a special niece, Barbara Childs; many other nieces and nephews; and she will also be missed by her many friends.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest and Harvey Billings; and a nephew, Matthew Childs.
