LIVERMORE FALLS – Michael L. “Skip” Pritsky, 55, a resident of Fayette Road in Livermore Falls, died very suddenly on Monday, Dec. 17, at his home.

He was born on May 20, 1952, in Newark, N.J., the son of Boris and Marjorie (Thomas) Pritsky. He attended school in Nutley, N.J., and Lincoln Park High School in Lincoln Park, N.J.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. Skip worked as a custodian for the Livermore Falls school system for 35 years and in 2005, he was honored for his longtime dedication to Livermore Falls High School.

He was a member and former president of the custodian’s union; a member of the Hillside Sports Club and the AMVETS, Post 33 in Jay.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Pritsky of Livermore Falls, a brother, Richard Pritsky of Vermont; a sister, Deborah Christensen-Plavchan of Lexington, Ky.; and five nephews.

He was predeceased by his dad, Boris Pritsky; and a sister-in-law, Gretchen Pritsky.
