LEWISTON – A Service of Lessons and Carols will be celebrated at Saints Peter and Paul Basilica at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

The Christmas story will be told through Scripture. Seasonal hymns, Advent and Christmas music will be performed by the basilica choir, accompanied by John Corrie on the Casavant organ, the Norumbega Ensemble and the St. Cecilia Schola Cantorum.

Admission is free, although donations to the organ restoration fund are welcome.
