HANOVER – A gathering was held recently for George and Mary Gionet of Hanover on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Party hosts were Mike and Nancy Gionet, Steve and Linda Gionet and Mark, Tim and Kay Gionet, children of the couple.
Flowers were in the color scheme of their wedding, turquoise, gold and white. The hall was decorated with 50th anniversary balloons, banners, rose petals and gold hearts. An anniversary cake was made and decorated by their granddaughter, Courtney. Their other granddaughter, Kelly, created a beautiful DVD with photos dating back to the couple’s childhood and through their family today.
Their sons and families catered and served dinner and hors d’oeuvres. Steve Gionet was the toastmaster.
