AUBURN – A Funeral service honoring the life of Muriel Mason was held Friday evening from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son, with the Rev. Mary Beth Caffey presiding. In attendance was a delegation from the Wales Volunteer Fire Department.

Words of remembrance were shared by Muriel’s daughter, Francine Rosenshein; her sister, Beatrice Pressey; friends, Kimberley Austin and Erin Descoteaux; grandson, Dennis Rosenshein; niece, Robin Leroy; cousin, Wedgewood Wheeler; and stepson, Dennis Mason.

Muriel’s cousin, Gerald Goding, sang “What a Friend I have in Jesus” and “How Great Thou Art.”

Muriel’s nephew, Dan Corriveau, sang “This World is not My Home” and “The Old Rugged Cross.”

A reception of fellowship will continue the celebration of Muriel’s life at her home in Wales on Christmas Eve.

A private burial will be held later in the spring at Pine Street Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center, 62 Spring St., Auburn.
