GRAY – Robert Clarence Henry, born on June 25, 1928, died Monday, Dec. 17, at Seaside Nursing Home.

He was married to Daisy Huff Henry for 58 years.

Born in Burlington, Vt., he was the son of Minnie and John Henry.

He is now in Heaven with his newborn sons.

Left behind are his beautiful wife and five children, Roberta and Mark Henry-Lavallee of Gray, Mary ann Henry of Mechanic Falls, Melvin Henry, Loretta and Harry Brown of New Gloucester and Patricia J. Henry of Gray; two sisters, Muriel Grover of Danville and Lois Chamberlain of North Turner; three brothers, Roger Henry of Connecticut, Richard Henry of Oxford and John Henry of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Along with raising his children, he helped raise some of his grandchildren, Bobbie, Francie, Amanda, Vickie, Charles, Ray and Mike.

He leaves behind many friends, including best friend Brad Perkins, and at Seaside, like a brother and best friend, Bob Walker.
