SOUTH GARDINER – Jason Glenn Wentzell, 28, of Vassalboro, died Friday, Dec. 21, in South Gardiner.
He was born in Lewiston July 28, 1979, the son of Glenn and Denise (Gonyea) Wentzell. He was a 1998 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He was a longtime employee of Oakhurst Dairy, working as a delivery route driver.
He enjoyed tinkering with cars, trucks and anything mechanical. He also enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and was known for his random acts of kindness. His son, Justin, was the light of his life.
He is survived by his parents, Glenn Wentzell of Litchfield and Denise Paradis and her husband, Gerald, of Litchfield; his wife, Angel (Todd) Wentzell, of Vassalboro; his stepmother, Julie Wentzell, of Gardiner; his son, Justin Wentzell; his brother, Chris Wentzell, of Litchfield; his stepbrothers, Jerry Paradis of Hartford, Conn., and Don Deschaine of Madawaska; his stepsisters, Tina Dionne and her husband, Luc, of St. David, Ericka Fairfield, of Damariscotta, Samantha Thibodeau, of Augusta, and Michelle Sclosser, of Portland.
