FARMINGTON – India is a great cat that would fit into any type of household, said staff at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.
She is always calm, cool and collected. She loves other cats and is affectionate with dogs, almost to a fault, they report.
India would be the perfect cat to play dress-up, have around as a helper with computer work, to use as a lap cozy and more. Anyone searching for an ideal cat is invited to visit India.
New dogs at the shelter include a smooth coated collie/hound mix found in New Portland and a black and white border collie mix found in Jay
The rabies and vaccine clinic has been rescheduled for noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6. Rabies vaccines will be $8 and the veterinarian will do other vaccinations. Prices will vary, depending on the vaccine. Dog licenses will be available.
The shelter will host a ‘Black Friday’ on Dec. 21. All black cats/kittens will be free for adoption.
