Trinity Catholic School students joined Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste Council Ste. Croix to raise funds for St. Martin de Porres Residence of Lewiston. The “Great Dime Race” was a joint project that brought in $2,500, including a matching fund by the USJB regional office in Woonsocket, R.I., and the local council. From left are Jordyn Carr, Grace Michel, Nelson Peterson and Sarah Bolduc, student representatives from the two classes that raised the most money, $563; back, Mercedes Gastonguay, secretary of the council; Brother Irenee Richard, director of St. Martin de Porres; and Paul Yarnevich, Trinity Catholic School principal.
