LEWISTON – Marion J. Clohosey, 77, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was a resident of Porter Avenue, Rumford and had lived in the area all of her life.

Born in Mexico on Jan. 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Isadore and Stella (Yakstas) Dragoon, Jr. She was a graduate of Mexico High School, with the Class of 1947. She was known as an Avon Lady. She was also a clerk at Sears and JC Penney and worked a couple of years at the Oxford Paper Co.

She was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church. She loved her family and traveling with her husband.

She was married in Rumford on Aug. 13, 1949 to Robert Louis Clohosey, who died in Portland on April 20, 1993.

Survivors include two sons, James Clohosey and his wife, Gail of Derry, N.H. and Edward Louis Clohosey and his wife, Janice of Coral Springs, Fla.; two daughters, Linda Clohosey and her companion, Susan Quintiliani of Hampstead, N.H. and Donna Clohosey Whalen and her husband, Michael of Gardiner; a brother, Donald Dragoon of Rumford; nine grandchildren, Brendan Clohosey Fontaine and his wife, Faith, Meaghan Whalen Tobias and her husband, John, Caitlin Whalen and her companion, Justin Geishaker, Brigid Whalen Torberg and her husband and Aaron, Christin, Graeme, Jason, Matthew and Ryan Clohosey; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Tobias and Grace Fontaine.
