OXFORD – Richard M. Hallock, 77, of Oxford, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, at his home with family by his side.
He was born on Oct. 7, 1930, in Auburn, to George and Velma (Lewis) Hallock. He attended school in Auburn for four years.
He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
He was a machinist in Massachusetts for many years, until his retirement in 1991.
He loved to be outdoors fishing, walking in the woods, going to the beach, singing country music, (especially songs by Patsy Cline and Eddy Arnold) and also being with his family, by which he will always and forever be remembered. He is now in heaven with the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa of Oxford; sons, Randy and Anthony of Oxford, Ronald and David of California, and Michael of Arizona; four daughters, Laura and Donna of California, Pamela of Massachusetts and Sharon Moe of Arizona; grandchildren, Crystal Robertson of Massachusetts, Ryan, Ashley and Jason of Arizona and Jessica; great-grandchild, Madison; one brother, Harold Hallock of Greene; and several half brothers and sisters; also, his cousin, John Rideout and wife, Carmie of Norway, whom he loved like a brother; several cousins; and best friend, Howard and Karen Munday.
