The Franklin County Children’s Task Force has announced receipt of a discretionary grant from Androscoggin Bank’s MainStreet Foundation in the amount of $1,000. The grant is earmarked for the task force’s new infant simulator, “Baby Think it Over Dolls.” The dolls, which simulate a newborn’s normal pattern of wake, sleep, crying and comforting, will be used in area middle and high schools in Franklin County and Livermore Falls. Nancy Robinson, right, of Androscoggin Bank, is presenting Renee Blanchet, executive director of the Franklin County Children’s Task Force, the check.
