AUBURN – According to former church historian Norman Rose, there were 134 members at the East Auburn Baptist Church as of Dec. 31, 1988. The average Sunday morning attendance was 91 parishioners. At the time the current pastor, the Rev. Roger Cousineau, arrived in 2005, various pastors and guest speakers had filled in to keep the church open. An article on Friday’s A1 required clarification on the numbers attending and that a pastor/preacher had been in residence.
