AUBURN – Dr. and Mrs. Richard P. Corbin of Phippsburg, formerly of Auburn, are announcing the engagement of their son, Zachary Andrew Corbin, to Kathleen Jo Flores Elayda, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. MacArthur Elayda of Houston, Texas.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Charlotte Latin School in Charlotte, N.C., and received a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. He is a third-year medical student at Yale Medical School.

The future bride is a graduate of Bellaire Senior High School in Bellaire, Texas, and received a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago, Ill. She is a third-year medical student at Yale Medical School.

The couple is planning a May 10 wedding in New Haven, Conn.
