POLAND SPRING – The wedding of Tanya Alyson Fortin and James Thomas Sadler Jr. was held at 11 a.m. Sept. 22 at the Poland Spring Inn. The Rev. Jodi Cohen-Hayashida officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Sadler is the daughter of Paulette Fortin of Lewiston. Mr. Sadler is the son of Betsy Sadler of Lewiston and the late James Sadler Sr.
The bride was given in marriage by “dad” Emile Chasse and her mother, Paulette Fortin.
A friend of the bride, Michelle Endresen, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Lannen and Melissa Chasse, friends of the bride.
A brother of the bridegroom, Paul Sadler, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Billy Jack Goodwin and Corey Crowell, friends of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Poland Spring Inn, after which the couple traveled to a cabin at Pemaquid Lake.
The bride is studying social and behavioral science at the University of Southern Maine, and is employed in client services at Tri-County Mental Health Services.
The bridegroom studied English literature and philosophy at the University of Maine at Farmington, and is employed in quality assurance at FedEx Ground and is a youth counselor at Youthbuild in Lewiston.
