The Leavitt Area High School hockey game against Hampden Academy, originally scheduled for Saturday night at Ingersoll Arena in Auburn, was postponed due to the death of a student at the Bangor-area school.

Matt Osborne, 17, was killed Dec. 24 when he was struck by a car on I-95 in Bangor. State Police said he was trying to get a gas grill that had fallen out of his truck.

Visitation hours were Friday, and Osborne’s funeral was Saturday. According to the school’s Web site, all activities scheduled for either day were canceled.

No make-up date has been announced.
