RUMFORD – Rodney Brents has joined Rumford Community Home and is setting up a new skilled nursing program. With Rumford Hospital’s Rehabilitation Department fully staffed, it can send therapists to Rumford Community Home to serve people there.

Before coming to Rumford Community Home, Brents spent 27 years in the Navy, primarily in health care settings. After settling in Maine, he became a state surveyor of hospitals and long-term care facilities.

A native of Kansas City, Mo., Brents lives in Lisbon with his wife, who is a Leeds, native. He has two grown children and one grandchild.
