LEWISTON – David G. Boutot, 61, died Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Central Maine Medical Center. He was a resident of River Road in Mexico.
He was born in Rumford on June 19, 1946, a son of the late J. Gerard and Flora (Golden) Boutot. He was a graduate of Mexico High School. He was a truck driver and worked in the bag department at Diamond International, and also worked with his father in the Boutot Rubbish Removal business, which he took over and ran for many years.
He was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church. He loved to tinker on vehicles and learn how things worked. He loved his family and friends, and his cats. He had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke.
Survivors include a sister, Theresa Ellis of Auburn; nephews, Jeff Ellis of Auburn and Gerard Ellis of Turner; a niece, Cindy Cloutier of Greene; and best friend, Robert Patenaude of Mexico.
