The Lewiston Ice Dawgs split a pair of game with Scarborough last weekend in Southern Maine Tier I Middle School hockey.

Scarborough skated to a 3-0 victory in the opener. Golaie Brian Wigant, Cameron Marquis, Reid Allen, Max Bolduc and Austin Obie were credited with good games.

Lewiston turned the tables in the second game, winning 4-3. Stefan Vallee scored a hat trick, including the game-winner in the final minute. Robbie Berube also scored. Zach Roy and Evan Bourassa shared goaltending, while Taylor Teixeria, Tanner Hubbard, Patrick DeBlois and Matt Bouchard were key players.

Mite Division

Lewiston Jr. Maineiacs Mite division orange team is 13-0 undefeated heading into this weekend. Last game Sunday Dec 30th @ the Colisee Vs Gardiner 8-6 Mite Orange won, Cole Ouellette had a hat trick.
