AUBURN – The wedding of Stacey Marie Bilodeau and Steven John Labonte was held May 19 at the High Street Congregational Church in Auburn. Marguerite Stapleton, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Labonte is the daughter of Norm and Connie Bilodeau of Auburn. Mr. Labonte is the son of Gary and Jeannette Labonte of Sabattus.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin halter top gown with chapel train accented with bugle beads. Her veil was fingertip length with bugle bead edging and she carried a bouquet of Red Gerber daisies and red Charlotte roses.

Annemarie Gendron, life-long friend, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Bilodeau, cousin of the bride, Rebecca Labonte, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Nanette Roberge, sister-in-law of the bride, and Adele Patsky, niece of the bride.

Scott Labonte, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Labonte, brother of the bridegroom, Stephen Bilodeau, brother of the bride, Sean Bilodeau, nephew of the bride, Nathan Bilodeau, nephew of the bride, and Bernie Patsky, nephew of the bride. The ring bearer was Nicholas Labonte, son of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Florida for two weeks. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Edward Little High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, with a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral science, and plans to receive her bachelor’s degree in nursing in May. She is employed at Lutheran Social Services in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Oak Hill High School and is employed as a juvenile program worker at Longcreek Youth Development Center in South Portland.
