LEWISTON – People interested in working with groups of adults and youths committed to making Lewiston-Auburn more youth-friendly and youth-empowered may want to join a YADA action group.

Four themes emerged from a Youth + Adults + Dialogue = Action community dialogue held in December. Theme-related action groups were established, and meetings have been scheduled. People are welcome to join.

• The group interested in “increasing youth civic engagement” will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Lewiston Public Library.

• Those interested in “creating an organizational space/community center” will also meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Lewiston Public Library.

• People interested in “expanding arts and culture” will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Lewiston Public Library.

• A group working on “establishing better communication within Lewiston-Auburn” will also meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Lewiston Public Library.
