LEWISTON – Joseph O. Blouin, 81, a resident of Lafayette Street in Lewiston, died early Monday morning, Jan. 7, after a long illness at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, with his family by his side.
He was born in Berlin, N.H., on Jan. 5, 1927, the son of Peter J. and Rose Alma (Bernard) Blouin.
He worked many years as a weaver for the Bates Mill as well as working as a security guard in his later years for St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. He received a diploma from Universal Detective Training School.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Muriel G. Blouin of Lewiston; and two stepsons, Gary Nauzokas of Lewiston and Michael Nauzokas of Portland.
