Supper to benefit fire victims

TURNER – Community volunteers will hold a benefit supper Saturday for two families whose children were burned in a fire on Betty Road in December. Riley Davis, 7, was killed in the fire. Brandon Birney, 11, and Brandi Birney, 8, suffered serious burns.

The spaghetti supper with homemade desserts will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Boofy Quimby Memorial Center at the intersection of Route 219 and Quimby Road in North Turner.

Volunteers are needed to help set up, cook, serve food and clean up. To volunteer, call Sherri Jordan at 225-5295 or 212-7111, or e-mail her at [email protected].

Donations for the meal will be accepted at the door.
