nORWAY – Lucia E. Smith, 76, passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, at Stephen’s Memorial Hospital, with her four daughters by her side.

She was born on July 27, 1931, in Portland, the daughter of Samuel and Kathleen Smith.

Lucia is survived by her husband of 59 years, Albert C. Smith; a brother, Tom Smith and his wife, Ginny, of N.H.; five children, Sandra S. Wheeler of West Bethel, Charles D. Smith and his wife, Beth, of Joplin, Mo., Alice S. Deegan and her husband, Ronald, of Bryant Pond, Brenda (Bubba) Blaisdell and her companion, Tony Bennett, of West Bethel and Alberta (Berta) Broomhall of West Bethel; six grandchildren, Thaddeus Wheeler, Angela Wheeler, Macy Blaisdell, Jordan Bennett, Michelle Deegan and Gavin and Alexus Broomhall; and two great-great-grandchildren, Xavier Mitchell and Brooke Bennett.

She was predeceased by both parents; and a sister, Alice Smith.
