• Vehicles driven by Zachary G. Grassette, 18, of Maple Street, Rumford, and Ramona White, 40, of Peru, collided at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 2, on Main Street. Grassette’s 2006 Chrysler van sustained $2,000 damage. White’s 1997 Chevrolet sports utility vehicle sustained $1,500 damage.


• Two residents of Swift River Road reported Jan. 4 that their homes and one vehicle had been splattered by yellow paint balls during the night of Jan. 3. Similar incidents occurred in Rumford. Police have leads.

• A resident of Granite Street reported at 4 p.m. Jan. 5 that someone sprayed their garage with white paint. A “Stop” sign further down the street was also spray painted with a smiley face.
